Set for September 17th & 18th 2021, the Greater Pontiac Community Coalition, along with OU |Pontiac Initiative, and the Pontiac Young Progressives, are planning a series of Leadership Symposiums. There will be a three-tier Leadership, Development and involvement process, to evaluate and advise people of the Community who desire Government, Corporate, Community Business Leadership and community involvement. This Symposium will provide valuable information and exposure to those interested in running for Mayor, Pontiac City Council, Library Board and Business positions in November 2021 and beyond. With so much at stake – COVID-19 Relief, Unemployment, Phoenix Center resolution, MDOT Woodward Loop, Marijuana resolutions, housing and land development and entrepreneurship, including Vision for our City and council.

Each symposium is designed to meet the needs of individuals with a Vision, who exhibit the following characteristics: Ability to work together, Leadership experience, Consensus Builder, Knowledge of Community, Business, and Corporate Engagement. These sessions will include a look at the seven pillar OU |Pontiac Initiative Partnership.

Over the next few weeks, we will list people who desire to run or engage in the three (3) symposium sessions. The symposium will not offer endorsements but will share knowledge, experience, wisdom and sensitivity for leadership development.
